CODE41 is a unique community project designed to bring together watchmaking enthusiasts to bring watchmaking projects to life. Founded by luxury watch designer Claudio D’Amore in 2016, CODE41 stands out for its policy of total transparency on the origin, price and production of its watches.
What is Moon INCEPTION?
The Moon INCEPTION is the brand’s first moon-phase watch. This watch is the first act of a new watchmaking odyssey in the CODE41 adventure, and showcases a previously unexplored facet of the brand, combining classicism and elegance.
Developed on Sellita architecture, reference SW288, the Moon INCEPTION’s C41-MP caliber has been modified by CODE41. The watch is also COSC-certified, i.e. with a metronomic precision of -4/+6 seconds daily.
Pre-orders for this reference have been opened for a full lunar cycle, from January 25 (first full moon 2024) to February 23, 2024.
The Moon INCEPTION collection features three dial color combinations: Sand & Black, Sand & Blue and Grey & Blue. These can be combined with a wide range of bracelets to create the Moon INCEPTION Creator Edition, a combination that’s just right for you.
A fruitful collaboration between CODE41 and Initium
To make this watchmaking journey even more memorable, CODE41, in collaboration with Initium, is offering the unique opportunity to personally assemble its Moon INCEPTION watch. This collaboration is a limited edition, as only 16 lucky buyers will have the opportunity to assemble their watch themselves. This experience is taking place on Initium’s premises in Le Noirmont and Geneva.

Eager to bring a new adventure to its community, CODE41 approached Initium so that together we could offer our respective communities the assembly of the first watch with moon-phase complication launched by CODE41, but also assembled in Initium’s workshops.

What’s next?
Offering the Moon INCEPTION, a moon-phase watch, is a first for Initium and CODE41. We’ll see what the participants thought, and look at the perceived benefits for our two companies and our communities. However, future collaborations cannot be ruled out.
